Join Choralation

We would love to have you come sing with us!

Choralation is continuously considering new members for our a cappella choir. We currently have openings for new singers in our soprano and bass sections, but all voice types are welcome to request an audition, and may be contacted in the future when positions become available.

Choralation rehearses on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9:30pm year-round. We rotate our rehearsal location weekly between Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and Port Coquitlam. There are no membership fees; Choralation is free to join.

Recruits are expected to be able to read music and attend rehearsals regularly. While we are a self-directed, non-professional choir, we do require that new members go through an audition process to ensure that you'll be a good fit for the group.

• Strong music reading ability
• Good sense of rhythm and pitch
• Ability to blend well with other singers to create a balanced sound
• Ability to hold a part by yourself - some of our repertoire has 8 or more different voices, so all singers should be able to sing their part without the help of others
